GEOG 1800 - Introduction to GIScience Course Books

I wanted to make a quick mention of the books I'm using this semester in the GEOG 1800 course at Utah State University. Both have been very effective so far - and while I would love to have a solid compilation of ever evolving online curriculum - these will have to do until my dream comes true.

Geographic Information Systems & Science, 3rd Edition. By Longley, Goodchild, Maguare, Rhind.


And our lab book:

Mastering ArcGIS, 5th Edition. By Maribeth Price.

I don't have a review of either book yet, but will try to discuss the content as we get further into the semester.
